This is achieved by the app reading a list of words aloud to the user, then requesting the user to repeat into the microphone as many words as they can remember. The App uses stimulus words that describe basic consumer items, chosen to be commonly available shopping items and basic necessities likely to be highly familiar to individuals in the country and language of test administration.
